My
Story

Hi,

My name is Courtney Carroll and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from a small town in Texas, but currently live in Estes Park with my hubs and pup. We have lived here full time for 3.5 years, but have been coming to Estes and working seasonally for the last 7 years. We love this community and the people in it! It doesn't hurt that we have the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park as our backyard to play in either!

I value community, family, friends, authenticity, vulnerability, inclusivity, and kindness. My roots in being a "helper" started early on. My dad is a mental health professional and I saw the impact he had on others lives and I knew I wanted to do something similar. Thankfully, I found Social Work...or as I like to say, Social Work found me.

I have a varied work history and I believe this has contributed to my becoming a well-rounded Social Worker. I got my start working in wilderness therapy, then I worked at a residential facility working with children in the foster care system, I went on to work with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), then as a crisis specialist in an ER, and most recently as a School Social Worker. I am deeply passionate about the work I get to do as a Social Worker, this calling of mine is definitely more than just a "job" to me.

I am very excited to start my own private practice and it would be my honor to embark on this journey of healing alongside you. To learn more about the services I provide as a therapist, the therapeutic approaches I use, and the areas I specialize in please check out my "Services" page. I am so glad you are here!!
